HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

Each tattoo is unique and will come at a cost set by the artist you have chosen. We have a minimum price for most tattoos that will take 30 minutes or less. That minimum is $150.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept cash, Venmo – No checks.
HOW CAN I GET A PRICE QUOTE?

The best way to get an accurate price range is by booking a (free!) consultation with the artist that you have found a connection with. Feel free to submit a detailed email with picture reference, location of the proposed tattoo and if you want color or not.

You are also welcome to come into the shop and talk to one of our managers or artists, if they’re available. We’re more than capable of helping you through this journey.
DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT IF I DECIDE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Each artist if has different requirements for tattoos. Please talk to your artist and see what they require to book an appointment. On average, the deposit is equal to 25% of the tattoo total.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A WALK-IN APPOINTMENT?

There is no scheduling a walk-in appointment. These appointments are only given as a first come, first serve basis. Please, call ahead to see if we have any available time to tattoo you if the urge to get in with short notice strikes. As a heads up, most of our artists are booked 2-3 months in advance and have limited walk-in availability.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?

Sleep. Make sure to eat a couple hours before and bring a snack that is high in carbohydrates or sugar to the tattoo session. If you like music or movies, feel free to bring a digital device to occupy yourself. If all else fails, our skilled and personable tattooers can keep you entertained with crappy jokes and anecdotes from their lives.
DO YOU DO BLACKLIGHT OR UV INK TATTOOS

Each artist has different pigments that they choose to use. While not all of our artists choose to utilize these pigments, some do. Feel free to ask the artist of your choosing if they do utilize these pigments.

DO YOU CARRY JEWELRY OR DO PIERCINGS?

No. We do not do any piercings on site or sell any jewelry. Luckily, if you are in need of piercings, there are many fabulous, up-scale piercing establishments on seattle, or even, near Dark Horse.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Once you’ve selected your preferred artist(s), you can either stop by the shop, call us at (206) 972-8287, or send a detailed email with a description of the design, some photo reference, and your preferred dates to schedule. With all this info sent in, we will get back to you with some dates that should work with your schedule. HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?

On average, tattoos take 12-14 days to reach a level of healing that will let you get back to your normal daily grind. It can take a few months for the skin to totally heal and the remodeling of tissue to be complete.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?

We will go over that with you at the end of your tattoo. If you are looking for detailed aftercare instructions because you lost them, contact your artist and let them know.
DO TATTOOS HURT

All tattoos hurt but, sometimes they feel oh so good! Trust your body will know how to deal with any discomfort and you can enjoy the process without fear of not being able to make it through.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?

You must be at least 18 years of age. It is against the law in Washington to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance with this law we have a strict No Minors policy. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove it with a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.
